You know it’s spring on Block Island when you start to see the daffodils popping up! While walking on Clay Head Trail you’ll be sure to see the fields of daffodils blooming. If you’re lucky, you might even find a glass float while exploring! Remember, when you are exploring the trails on Block Island please treat them with respect and leave the land exactly as you found it.
The wait for the warmer season has finally come to a halt. Birds are singing, the fish are waking up, and the turtles are crossing the roads...slowly! With this weather, comes much preparation. With flowers blooming, a new baby cow at The 1661 Farm, fresh paint jobs, and businesses getting ready to open their doors, spring is in full swing and summer is literally right around the corner!
