Also known as Mosquito Beach, Dinghy Beach is a small sandy cove with a fixed dock in Great Salt Pond that provides the easiest access from the pond to Crescent Beach. Boaters moored or anchored in New Harbor can tie up their dinghies and cross Corn Neck Road to Scotch Beach on the opposite side. (If you remain on the Great Salt Pond side, there’s a small spot where you can do a little beachcombing.) Majestic views of Great Salt Pond make Dinghy Beach a perfect backdrop for photos. If you’re not coming by dinghy, there’s a small parking area on the west side of Corn Neck Road.
