Beach cleanups are an opportunity to give back to the environment and help preserve the natural beauty of the island. By picking up litter and debris, everybody can help protect marine wildlife and prevent pollution from damaging the local ecosystem. Additionally, beach cleanups can be a fun and rewarding way to connect with other like-minded individuals and make a positive impact on the community. Some great beaches that are affected the most by litter and trash would be West Beach (A.K.A. Dump Beach), Coast Guard Beach, Clay Head, The North Light, and Charleston Beach.
