If your idea of a perfect afternoon is browsing around an art museum or gallery, you’ll definitely want to make time to come to the Spring Street Gallery, an artists’ cooperative just up the hill and past the Harbor Church on Spring Street. Stop by and see the diversity of beautiful works from Block Island artists and pick up a copy of the Gallery’s Art Trail Map – a unique guide to the galleries and museums around town and throughout the island.
About 24 artists exhibit their works at the Spring Street Gallery, ranging from paintings and photography to ceramics and jewelry. Come see how the beauty of Block Island is reflected in their art. It could be that you’ll find just the perfect thing to take home as a lasting remembrance of your time on the Island.
Exhibit openings are a fun way to meet and mingle with artists and art lovers alike, as you enjoy some refreshments and music on the deck.
